All of our treats are produced in our warehouse located in Monroe, WA.

What You Will Do:

At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the key responsibility of a National Account Manager is the development of new product sales through new and existing customers. Sales activity will be focused on high level customer engagement to develop business. The National Account Manager will interact with Research & Development, Marketing, Customer Service and Executives in fulfillment of their responsibilities.

Essential Duties and responsibilities included:

  • Establish, develop and grow new and existing business relationships with key decision makers within all levels of customer accounts.
  • Understanding & knowledge of customers' business drivers
  • Proactively identify new customer opportunities utilizing Wet Noses branded and private label product and channel strategies.
  • Team with customer's field personnel for effective partnering where feasible.
  • Manage strategies to maximize breadth of Wet Noses reach globally.
  • Direct sales presentations and new customer development, which includes planning, presentation development, travel and actual presentation time.
  • Plan, develop and communicate tracking of customer's promotions and sales reporting.
  • Lead planning for events (shows and expos) including booths, shipping, travel, lodging, etc.
  • Participate in full year budget and forecast planning by account and channel.
  • Assist in marketing of new products.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to all internal teams.
  • Ability to travel for business related meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • High degree of personal integrity and professionalism with solid business acumen.
  • Ability to sell both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent presentation skills, professional demeanor on phone and in person.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively against hard deadlines.
  • High level of organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Very quick learner in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Persistent and dependable, especially with attendance, deliverable and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge and thorough understanding of computer programs which include Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Salesforce.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates in an office environment, some work may be completed remotely.
  • Employees are required to follow all safety protocols which includes wearing any required PPE while on the production floor.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with arms and hands.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally life office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • May be required to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds when traveling for shows.

Normal work schedules are Monday-Friday, However extended hours and weekend travel may be required.
